Serviceplan Group, one of the largest advertising networks, tops Germany’s largest Red Box creativity ranking for the first half of 2016.
The Red Box creativity ranking (http://www.redbox.de/ranking) is based on the number of national and international awards won by a company. Serviceplan’s top ranking was no big surprise, given the fact that its cases had won as many as 6 Grands Prix at the Cannes Lions 2016, the main global festival of creativity and integrated communications.
The case DOT: The First Braille Smartwatch won two gold awards at once: the Innovation Lion and the Design Lion. The unique design of the new wristband device for visually impaired people – the first smartwatch with a Braille display – will enable the visually impaired to enjoy the usual and the useful aspects of modern life, such as the social networks, online maps, mobile communications, etc.

Another highlight was a digital platform for the WhatsApp messenger that was specifically designed for the Middle Eastern refugees in 2015. WhatsGerman was intended to facilitate the socialization and make learning German easier. In the first 6 weeks following its introduction, 17% of the Arabic-speaking refugees signed up for the service.

The Russian office of Serviceplan – currently represented by two Moscow-based agencies, Louder marketing communications agency and Serviceplan Russia creative agency – has kept abreast of their German colleagues.
Two projects by Louder won the Silver Mercury awards: the silver went to the Superstar trend marketing campaign that was acknowledged as the industry’s best advertising campaign in Fashion and Style, while the Porsche Night 2016 project took the bronze as one of the best in “Marketing Instruments. Event marketing: B2C”.

In addition, Louder was named the event agency of the year at the national Sozvezdiye (“Constellation”) awards ceremony for creativity, effectively addressing the challenges of the event industry, as well as for contributing to the development of event marketing.
